This army covers the Spanish forces based in the Low Countries and in Italy from 1621 until 1659, covering the end of the Dutch/Spanish Long War and the French/Spanish phase of the Thirty Years War.

At present we don’t really have any models to cover the ‘native’ Spanish troops. It is our long term aim to return to complete this army at the end of our Spanish Century project, but that might take us awhile…

In the mean time Catholic Germans and boot hosed Musketeers, would make excellent looking Foreign regiments, which are compulsory under this list after 1635 and Dragoons and Imperial supplied Croats are both in the Optional Troops section.
