The Assault Group's range of miniatures are made primarily with the wargamer in mind. Our miniatures are in what is called "28mm" size. This size of miniature has been used by gamers for almost 50 years and has become The standard size for large scale re-enactments and skirmish gaming.
Our range is designed by gamers for gamers, we have between us over 100 years of wargaming experience, we know the things that are necessary for you as a gamer/collectors to fill out your particular wargames armies, how-ever you wish to deploy them.
Where i has been possible TAG have stuck with one sculptor/designer of each of its period ranges. We know that compatibility between forces is important if customers are going to build large interchangeable forces.
Miniatures are sculpted so that fit they base sizes of all major rule-sets. Ranges are designed so that all the troop types listed in the major Army Lists for the period are covered, and we try our hardest to endeavour to complete all the projects that we start. Here at TAG we think that there is nothing worse than an unfinished range.
We also accept that we are not normally the only miniature manufacturer in your gaming collection and that it is inevitable that the customer will have other miniatures in thier collections. Because other peoples ideas of size and scale vary, we have collected together a number of very useful scale comparisons. which could be used to gauge the size our our minis when shown with those of others.
All TAG 28mm miniatures are made from "White-Metal", a soft Lead based alloy which is easily modeled but tough enough to stand the rigors of day-to-day handling. When handling unpainted TAG miniatures, care must be taken that metal is not ingested. Always wash your hands after handling unpainted items, and as a rule they should not be purchased by children under the age of 16 years.
All miniatures are supplied unpainted and some assembly may be required. |
