What's on the way from TAG

Tatar horse-holder greens
by pete - Monday, February 7th, 2011

Next on to the Workbench here at TAG HQ are 3 new Tatars for our Eastern Renaissance range of 28mm miniatures.

These musket armed warriors, called Segban, were mounted on ponies for ease of movement. We released the basic troops a year or so ago, but these new miniatures will allow those that would like to show their horse-holder represented on the model battlefield.

Our Tatars are specifically for the Period 1550 through to the end of the classic wargamers 'Renaissance' period at 1700, but they should be useful for those that wish to represent the Tatars as late as the 19th Century.

These miniatures, and all those in the TAG Tatar range, have been sculpted by our in-house master sculptor, Nick Collier.
